My go-to for mower stuff!

Just received my new set of mower blades and a fuel filter, and I'm so happy with them! My old blades were shot, and these new ones cut like a dream. Everything fit perfectly on my Yard-Man. It's awesome to know I'm getting genuine parts. Shipping was quick, got here in about 5 days. I'll for sure be back for more maintenance items next season. Seriously, if you need parts for your outdoor equipment, this is the place!

Good deal on air filter

First time buying here. Needed an air filter for my Cub Cadet. I checked a few other sites, but MTD Parts had a good price, and I got free shipping since my order was over $45. That really made the difference for me. The part arrived in about a week. It felt like a solid purchase, definitely got good value.

Always reliable for parts

I've ordered from MTD Parts a few times now, and they're always consistent. This time I needed a new drive belt for my Troy-Bilt, and it was exactly as expected. Shipping took about 4 days to get to me in Ohio, which is pretty standard. Prices are fair, and I know I'm getting the right part.

What's the return policy like for electrical parts? Bought a solenoid and now I'm thinking my problem might be something else. Can I return it if I've opened the package?

I Ian 3 weeks ago
Electrical parts can be tricky to return once opened or installed, some places won't take them back at all. You'd need to check their specific policy on that, it's usually different from regular parts.

I think for electrical items, they're usually a no-go for returns if you've opened it or tried to install it. It's because they can be easily damaged or shorted. Definitely check their detailed return policy on their site or call them to be sure.

hey, anyone ordered parts to like, Florida recently? wondering how long shipping usually takes. trying to get my mower running before the grass gets totally out of hand.

Yeah, I'm in South Carolina, pretty close to you. Got some blades and a belt last month, took about 5 business days for standard shipping. Not super fast, but not terrible either.

I'm in Orlando, ordered a new carburetor. It arrived in 4 days. Pretty standard for ground shipping, I think.

I'm looking for a specific part and can't find it just by searching. Is there a good way to look up parts using a diagram or something?

K Kevin A. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, you have to use your model number! Go to their site and there's usually a tool where you put in your model number, and it pulls up diagrams for your specific machine. Super helpful.

Definitely use the model number lookup. It'll show you exploded diagrams and you can click right on the part you need. Makes it way easier than guessing.

Anyone have luck with a first-time buyer discount or a coupon code? About to place my first order and trying to save a few bucks.

S Sarah Evans 2 weeks ago
Sometimes they have those if you sign up for their email list. That's usually where they send out any promo codes. Check your spam folder after you sign up!

I didn't get a specific first-order discount when I signed up, but they do send out coupons for sales like 10-15% off specific categories, especially around spring or fall. Worth signing up for the newsletter.

Thinking of getting a new drive belt for my mower, but also saw some at RepairClinic. Any opinions on MTD Parts vs. RepairClinic for stuff like that?

K Katie Mitchell 2 weeks ago
I always go with MTD Parts for my Cub Cadet since it's the official site. Less chance of getting something that's 'compatible' but not quite right. RepairClinic is good for general stuff, but for critical parts, I stick to OEM.

Both are decent, but if it's a specific MTD brand part (Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, etc.), I'd lean towards MTD Parts since you know it's genuine. RepairClinic has a massive selection too, so it really depends on what you're looking for and if you trust aftermarket alternatives.
